What Is CrowMatrix?

Now Supports Daylite 3!

GammaStream's Daylite plugins now support Daylite 3 and are available for download and purchase bundled together as DayPack. The package includes DayPhone, CrowMatrix, and DayPost.

Some of the highlights include integrated dialing, zip code lookups, creating groups of contacts that are within a specified distance from each other, and support for the Phlink phone system.

DayPack supports both PowerPC & Intel based Macs running Mac OS X 10.4 or later.

CrowMatrix is a plugin for Marketcircle's Daylite application that calculates the distances between a selected group of Daylite contacts. Using latitude/longitude data from over 40,000 US and 750,000 Canadian zip codes, CrowMatrix calculates distance using the 'as the crow flies' method. Each selected Daylite contact that has a valid default address and zip code can be selected and used with CrowMatrix. The generated distance matrix is similar to the distance tables one might find on many maps.

In CrowMatrix for Daylite 3, the matrix is now opened in your default browser as a web page to be saved for later use. From the matrix users can click the intersection links to view driving directions between the associated contacts. It is important to note that direction distances are generally slightly longer, depending on the directness of the chosen route.

CrowMatrix is now available for Daylite 3 as part of the DayPack bundle which also contains DayPhone and DayPost.
